Jim was my "adopted work Dad" from Vicor. Jim was very special to me. I have many memories of Jim, but two that are special memories:
* Jim and I had a pizza eating contest to see who could eat more slices of pizza! Of course, I won!! After we finished, and I was headed back to work, Jim said to me "Will you please send somebody up with the cart? I dont think i can walk"!!
*I was late for work occasionally, well, okay, maybe a bit more than occasionally! This drove Jim crazy. One Saturday, I came into work late, and Jim was giving me the silent treatment. So I finally got brave enough to say "why are you so mad, it's a Saturday. And why are you tougher on me than anyone else?" Jim's response not only left me speechless, but also brought tears to my eyes...He said "maybe that's because I care about you" and then walked away.
It's been a long time since we have seen each other, Jim, but you were always in my heart and thoughts, never, ever forgotten. I loved you then, and I'll love you always.
Love Tina
