Time passes too quickly, especially for us older folks. The tribute video was wonderful. I liked the photos of Leo in grade school and then in high school. I remember his face exactly like those photos, including the gap tooth. I regret that Leo was not able to attend our 50th reunion in Natick. It would have been fun to catch up. Maybe even visit our old stomping grounds. Cut through the woods again, pretend to wait for the bus at the corner of Harford Street and Boden Lane. Laugh again at getting caught on the Natick Golf Course and being escorted home by the owner to lecture our parents. We did it again anyway. It sounds like he was a great dad, grandfather, uncle, cousin and all around good guy. We need...the world needs more people like Leo. He has left a loving and lasting memory. Amen.

Leo and his siblings would come to Kentucky to visit his Grandmother and Kentucky Cousins. We adored and admired Leo so much. He was the older, cooler, intelligent, kind, patient, and very funny cousin. He entertained and put up with us little kids. Every time we ask him to say "the car" he repeated "the car" with a few more East Coast words and made us laugh. He also had us trying to get that accent going ourselves for years...Leo would have loved the Kentucky drawl mixed with a wicked awesome Boston accent! Truth be told, we are still trying, when we think of our darling Leo and the fond memories we will of him. I will always be grateful for the time spent with he and Therese a few years ago, and the book of memories he sent afterwards. Leo will be missed by this Kentucky cousin. He was larger than life. My thoughts and prayers are with Therese and children, Anne, Paul and Jean and families. Please reach out if you need anything. Big hugs and much love, Susan Walch

My condolences to the Scammon family. It’s been many years since our boys played in little league. I remember Leo as a kind man and coach. RIP

Leo, you were the leader of our 21 pack, the one we all looked up to, the one who watched out for all of us. We will cherish the memories and especially Aunt Kay's Zoom Birthday. That was such a wonderful time. All my love and prayers to Therese, Tara, Bob and the rest of the family. You are in my thoughts.

Leo was the one we all looked up to, he was kind and gentle, full of love and knew how to make us laugh when ever we needed it. As one of the younger cousins, I completely cherished the moments I was able to spend in his presence. What an amazing tribute video that was. Leo, I hope you embrace those who went before you, and tell them they are missed. Rest easy and be sure to grab a seat behind home plate, at the 50 yard line, at the blue line and court-side, dip your toes in the oceans of heaven. I will miss you so very much.
Sending a million virtual hugs to you Therese, Tara, Tim, Bob, Bevin and all the little ones. Anne, Jean, Bob and families, hold those memories close. Much Love Your Way!

Leo was the oldest of 21 Scammon cousins. The leader of our Pack. His kindness, laughter, dry sense of humor, and LOVE of family set an example for us all. We adored him, looked up to him and would characterize him as THE BEST!! We were BLESSED to have him participate in our Aunt's 83rd Birthday Zoom in June!! When he came on the screen, everyone was excited. He will be beyond missed and we can only honor him by living by his example. Rest in Peace Leo. You now have a seat at the ever growing Heavenly Scammon Table. Susan Scammon Sepe
