I met Alan about 18 -19 years ago when he joined a ski house up at Killington. I always saw Alan as a genuinely friendly and extremely courteous person. Never would you hear a disparaging word come from his lips.
He was always as helpful and caring as a person could be.
I am so saddened by his loss, he was a truly lovely human being...and I know he had some health challenges, but you NEVER heard ONE complaint from him.
May his loved ones only have happy loving memories of a person I consider so very sweet, kind and thoughtful
May Alan rest in peace.
Robert Gedzelman, NYC NY (up at Killington, I was often referred to as Bobby G from NYC)

To Alan's family, loved ones and friends -
a long list because of what a special person Alan was. If you were fortunate to be his friend, you know what it was to be in his company-the best of company.
What a gift he was to me and the others in my dance classes. I'm so proud that you see him and Susan dancing Hustle at the end of the video. As dancers "mature" it often means they can become restricted in their ability to move and compromise on the quality of their dancing. Not Alan. He was a regular enthusiastic student, listened well, asked great questions, worked hard, was a generous, kind and caring partner to everyone AND continued to improve his dancing every time. It was a real pleasure to be his instructor as well as sharing some wonderful fun times dancing outside of class.
The qualities that Alan had on the dance floor were consistent with his qualities as a man and human. I feel blessed to have known him. I will hold him in heart and mind forever and thus I have access to his immortality until we dance again....I know he will rest in peace but also doing guardian angel duty for his family and loved ones. I'm sure his care will continue as he always looked out for us all. Sincere sympathy to Susan and Alan's family, Kim Vanaman

Alan was a true gem! He always made me feel welcome in his presence. Dancing with him was pure joy, and often a challenge as he was a supreme hustle dancer to be sure. He would make me laugh over many things, but when he told me "dancing with me was a challenge", that was a hoot. And that is something to be missed, how Alan made us feel when we were with him, special and loved. Rest in Peace, dear friend. Pamee

It’s been a week. A week since I’ve seen your face. A week since you've moved from being seen with my eyes to being felt in my heart. As the condolences from all of our family and friends have come in, near and far, present to past, one thing is clear Dad- you really are just as amazing and loved as I thought you were. You were always kind, helpful, smart and your witty one liners always provoked a laugh. YFD forever. For those who don’t know, Dad and I signed everything YFD for your favorite daughter/dad. It was our thing.
I knew it was your time as our fight had come to an end, but it seems too premature to me- you had so much more life to live and love to give. A good man and soul taken too soon. It is not goodbye today, but until I see you again. Because I will see you again someday. Until then I carry you in my heart and in our wonderful memories. Robert and I couldn’t have asked for a better Dad, we couldn’t...because there simply isn’t one. We loved you then, we love you now, we will love you forever and always. Thank you for never giving up your fight for us- we will never forget it. Forever our hero. Rest easy Dad, you deserve peace.
❤️YFD

I worked closely with Alan for a number of years at Brooks Automation but I am down in Florida and cannot attend the wake. Please accept my deepest sympathies on his passing. Alan was always a fun guy to be around. There were a number of days at Brooks when I was feeling a bit down and gloomy and a walk over to his office for a short visit would always improve my mood. Alan had a lot talents and skills that not everyone knew about. His knowledge of wine is certainly example and I will always remember the lunch time trips up to the NH Liquor Store from Brooks that he and I occasionally made where he would tell me buy this bottle of wine and here is why.

We were blessed to have danced so many dances with Alan. He told stories with a sweet smirk and lit up when he spoke about his grand baby and daughter. We will miss him terribly and send all of our love to his family and to Susan.

I am so very sorry to here about Alan. I worked with Alan at AutoGuide Mobile Robots. He was the nicest person, we would chat often at the end of day and before every weekend. I would send out office wide emails and I could always count on one response and it was Alan usually with something funny. I would always catch him in the lunch room doing some exercise and stretches. It was a pleasure to get to know him and I'm very saddened by his loss.

Al will be greatly missed. Thirty years of friendship and fun with Al went by too quickly. Most of all we’ll miss his summer BBQs at his house with all of Eva’s and Robert’s friends. What feasts they were! I think Al was always thrilled with the gathering. Every time I play corn hole I’ll think of Al. Barb and Len

My deepest condolences to your family and Alan's friends. I worked with Alan at Brooks Automation, Inc. for many years. Alan was a happy and cheerful person that will be greatly missed my many. While working with Alan we spoke about how we served in the US Army together. We found out that we both served in the 2nd Battalion 4th Infantry unit. Alan left the unit about a year or so before I was assigned to the unit. We spoke of our tour in Germany often and I will always appreciate the time God gave us together. My blessing and prayers to the Price family and his friends. My God hold you in the palm of his hands. RIP Al..

So sorry to hear of Alan's passing. We became friends at Brooks Automation and would often run into each other at the health club and jogging on the streets! Al was a great guy who worked very hard to keep himself in good physical health. Since he lived fairly close to me, we would often commute to work together when our cars needed to be in the shop. He will be truly missed! My sympathy to the family in this difficult time. Rest in peace Al!

The Dance
Dave Koz
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we'd shared underneath the star above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known that you would ever say goodbye
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance, the dance
I would have missed the dance, the dance
I would have missed the dance
Holding you, I held everything
For a moment, oh, wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say, you know
I might have changed it all
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance, the dance
I would have missed the dance, the dance
I would have missed the dance
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance
Yes, our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance
Oh, the dance
Sing, the dance
I said I would have missed the dance, the dance
Said I would have missed the dance, the dance
Said I would have missed the dance, the dance, dance
Said I would have missed the dance
