To the Grossi Family ... I just happened upon your Dad's obituary today (5/10/21) and I was very saddened by the news of his passing. I was a classmate of your Dad at both WMHS & Salem State. He was a good friend in those days and although awe lost touch over the years we had recently made contact through FaceBook. My condolences to you all ... RIP old Friend.

Dear Grossi Family & Friends
I had the pleasure of being one of Mr. Grossi's students at Dom Savio in East Boston in the early 1970's. He taught geometry & was wonderful . He was a kind, patient & attentive teacher that we loved. He was always willing to provide extra help & wanted us all to do well. It couldn't have been easy as the students could be a rowdy bunch. Mr. Grossi took it in stride & carried on, providing us with a great understanding of the subject.
Above all things I remember him as a kind & loving man. He listened, was patient and I think of him often as the things he taught me have been valuable my entire life. He was a shining example of what it means to be a good man. My thoughts go out to you all.

Oh wow Douglas! Thank you so much for your kind words. I am not surprised that my father left such a lasting impression, you and your class certainly left one on him. He was always telling me stories about his short time in the classroom. However knowing the other side, hearing these never before memories, acknowledging the man I knew my Dad as means a lot. Be well -Barbara

Dear Karen and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I apologize for my late acknowledgement of Dom's passing. I just heard. You have all come into my thoughts and prayers throughout the past months. Dom was such a pleasure to care for, well, as much as he would allow me to! I always looked forward to our "visits" and was so impressed by your warm, caring family. I feel so blessed to have known Dom and will never forget the sweet, strong proud man that he was. His genuine kindness is reflected in all of you. May he rest in peace. I am certain that he is always with you watching over you.
Thoughts and prayers always,
Debbie Cunningham (RN)

Dom was a wonderful, friendly neighbor. We saw that he was a great gardener and fondly remember him putting up beautiful light displays with Barbara at Christmas.
He will be sadly missed. Rob and Jan Costa

Karen, Dom Jr., Barbara and Jo, I am so sorry for your loss of this very special man. He was always so kind and made you feel comfortable to be around. It was an honor to know him. I wish there were words that could ease some of the pain you feel. I know there are none. Our hearts are never ready to let go of those we love. The sky is a little brighter knowing he is in heaven and looking down on each of you. Dom will always be in our hearts. Much love to all of you.

Today I gained another Angel to watch over me.
My brother, Domenic Grossi Sr., gained his wings, and I know he was welcomed with open arms. He is the kindest, most unselfish gentleman known.
He is truly my HERO
Never complained, appreciated anything that came his way, and was one of the hardest working around.
The way he lived his life exemplifies just this, he has one of the best in Karen Grossi, and Dom Grossi and Barbara Mantere. He will be missed.
Dom, you will never be forgotten

I worked with Domenic at the Post Office. He was always a gentleman and a great family man whom he spoke often with pride. A man with few words sometimes but always respectful and a pleasure to work with. I'm so lucky to have spent the time I did with him. God speed Domenic may you rest in peace. My sincere condolences to the Grossi family.
