We shared so many fun childhood memories with Uncle Ron, Aunt Jan, Jody and Scott. New Year’s Eve sledding down the Jalbert’s hill, summer vacations on Lake Maranacook, watching Ron and Dave play baseball at Fenway park, lots of laughs in Vero Beach with the gang, family parties by the pool in Burlington, and countless more. We miss them all but know they are reunited once again. God bless.

As neighbors on both streets we shared in Burlington I have many fond memories of Mr. Mackenzie and his family. The Jalberts are grateful for everyone and especially the loving kindness with which Ron handled the case for my brother Danny. His was a life well-lived. Lucky us to have shared this space and time. Peace and comfort to his family, Patty Jalbert Bordie

A great man and a great neighbor as well. I remember him playing pond hockey with us kids in the Spruce Hill area back in the late 60s. We were honored.
RIP Ron MacKenzie.

Ron and I worked together on The Board of Directors for the Green Electric Company, and all of us were amazed and admired his eternal optimism and big ideas. About four summers ago, a friend and I flew from Nashville (where I live), and we met Ron and Anne for dinner on a harbor in Boston (prior to catching a cruise ship). His smile and bright attitude matched the wide open sky, and Ron will be deeply missed. I extend deep sympathy to Anne and his family and friends. This photo was taken on the harbor when we had dinner with Ron and Anne. May the love of family and friends be of comfort in your loss.

I remember Mr. MacKenzie with great admiration for all he did for others not only in Burlington, but also at the state level. As a BHS alumnus, I had the good fortune to attend school with Scott, who was held in very high esteem by many people. I'm saddened not only to learn of his passing, but to also learn that he had previously lost his wife and children. My thoughts and prayers are with Anne and his loved ones at this time. May joyful memories bring you comfort, strength and peace. xoxo

So very sad to hear of Ron's passing...he was a gentle man, who devoted his life to public service and helping those in need. I will cherish the fond memories I have of our friendship. Rest in Peace to a prince of a man.
