To Rich and the entire Mancini family,
My deepest sympathy as I have just read of Mr. Mancini's passing; he will always be Mr. Mancini to me as I have such fond memories and respect for the father that I always saw as quietly guiding his family with a strong and loving hand.
I knew I was blessed to be a small part of your family during my teenage years and I have always appreciated the generosity shown me.
I know you to have a strong faith and even stronger family bonds that will carry you all during this time of grief.
All my love,
Michelle

On the wall of the new St Margaret's Catholic Church, Sunrise Park. Diocese of Rustenburg, South Africa, are ten names engraved on a marble stone. The parishioners named it "Wall of Appreciation". Nick and LaVonne Mancini's name is one of this ten names.
The kindness and generousity of the Mancini's knew no boarders and for this, I believe he is resting peaceful with the Angels in Heaven, the place he rightly belongs to.
From May 2004 until ten days before his call to Glory, Nick remained a strong supporter of the plight of poor catholics in the diocese of Rustenburg, South Africa. And thanks to his generousity and others who shared his love for people irrespective of where they where or came from, we were able to build four churches in the last four years.
I particularly will always remain grateful for his love, respect and generousity over these years. And as tears drop from my eyes knowing that he is no longer with us physically, I also hold fond memories of the last meeting with him in Burlington after Mass at the O'keeffe's on sunday the 18th of september 2011.
LaVonne, know that you and every member of your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Good people will always have goodness hovering around them.

David, Linda and kids,
Just wanted to say that I was sorry to hear about your Dad's
death. I didn't know him, except when Melissa and Gregory would talk about him in the classroom so many years ago.
My sympathy to you all.

I'll never forget how Uncle Nick and Aunt LaVonne generously opened up their cape home to us when we moved here from St. Louis in 1985. What should have been a traumatic experience for any teenager turned out to be an amazing summer that I will never forget. Eating lobster and Craigville Pizza for the first time, days at Craigville Beach and cruising down Mainstreet Hyannis. It was so funny when Uncle Nick used to try to embarrass us by blaring classical music down Mainstreet. I'll always remember his generosity, kindness and wonderful sense of humor...he will be sadly missed.
