I am so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing, he was such a sweet man. I know for certain we can never really lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decisions we make. You can't see them, but the strength they have left behind in all of you is amazing. I believe in time, you will find comfort in knowing you are better people having shared your lives with him. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. May he rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Having worked with Joe for 20 years I can say he was one of the hardest workers in my department. He had a gentle heart and was very low key...except when it came to the Red Sox! My fondest memory of Joe was when the Sox finally broke the curse of the Bambino. He was thrilled. When he retired, we gave him a Red Sox Championship varsity jacket as well as Ivex's company seats at Fenway Park for a game with the Yankees.
He will be missed

I wish that I had some words that could help us all during such a difficult time.
Uncle Joe was a such big part of our entire family. Everyone knew if there was any type of family event there was no chance he would miss it because family was what was most important to him.
He will be greatly missed by all of us but is now with family that had gone before him. I know they were all waiting at Heavens gate to welcome him but he will live on in our hearts forever.
Until we all meet again on the other side, Godspeed Uncle Joe, May you Rest in Peace
Thank you for being such a wonderful uncle!

Well said. I feel exactly the same way. Heaven has a new angel and I am sure he was greeted at the gates by all the people we miss and love who have passed before him. He was loved by so many. I will miss his warm smile. Rest In Peace,Uncle Joe. With love, Denise

Dear Eileen, Joe, Brian, Derek, and Justin,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Joe was a wonderful and kind person. I always looked forward to talking with him at the Pineau Family cook-outs. He was a wealth of knowledge about everything that the Red Sox were doing, and his eyes would open wide as he would talk about the plays of the games. He will be missed by all who knew him, but will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
