Hello Mrs. 'D' , Jim and Tom,
I received an alert on my phone with a very sad message and read about the loss of a great man, father, grand father and great grand father. I took my time going through the photos looking at the all the kids and trying to figure out how fast the time goes by. It seems like yesterday we were skating on the swamp and playing football and baseball in the middle of the street. The last time I went by Chandler Road was with my dad back in 2015 and it just doesn't look the same. What we used two call the "little Hill' felt like a speed bump when I drove over it.
Before I sign off, I would like to end with something I always remembered your dad saying, because he always had some type of remark and walked away laughing after. If you remember back when we were all together with sleeping bags, on your lawned between your house and McMahons, and your dad yelled out the window " Hey guys how are the mosquitos" we said not bad and your dad replied ,I hope they all bite you in ass.
In closing , Take care, stay safe and maybe in the future , we can take one more swing over the FIRE NET.
Your Friend and part of the Chandler Road gang,
Sergio F DeMango Jr

Aunt Joan & Family,
We have wonderful memories of Uncle Jim at the Christmas Dinner Feast on Chandler Road. You could tell how much he enjoyed having his family around which included his lucky nephews and their families. There were always great conversations and many laughs.
We’ll be forever grateful for our time we shared with him.
Rest In Peace Uncle Jim!

I would like to offer my condolences to Jim's family. Jim and I worked together at Marshall Simonds Middle School for ten years as I was just beginning my career there, and Mr. Duffy made me feel very welcome at the school. He was always helpful and friendly, and I have fond memories of chatting with him about how his grandchildren were doing in my class. I hope your memories of this fine gentleman will be a blessing for you.

I was saddened to learn of Jim Duffy's passing today. Jim was a gentleman, man of great humor, hard worker, and a true team player. I had the privilege of working with Jim for many years at Marshall Simonds. His profound impact on students, teachers, staff members and parents will never be forgotten. I treasure our many conversations and laughter shared. There truly was only "Jim Duffy". The entire Duffy family should be so proud of this special man. I want to extended my condolence to all of the Duffy family. His life was truly one well spent. Noreen Abati
