Doug fisher Jr. Jan 28, 2021 I thankfully have some fond memories of my Uncle Phil. When I was young I went on many snow mobile trips with Uncle Phil my dad and others. That reminds me of his friend and quite the character Bud and his camp. I remember working on his house with dad. A memory I hold close is that every single time I saw him he would always take me aside and talk to me and ask me about my life, how I was doing and what was going on. He was a special man to me in my life, a good uncle. Find comfort that he is with his brothers and sisters mom and dad that passed away before him and is another angel looking over those who will follow. God Bless his family and the greater family. We couldn't make it to his services but are thankful technology allowed us to live stream the mass. I was there in spirit and mourn his passing. Aunt Barbara, cousins Debbie, Brenda and Phillip and their families I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband and father was a great man and will be missed by all those whose life was blessed by him being a part of it.

Condolences to all who have been touched by “Batman’s” graciousness. I remember his visits to my grandmother, Jean, for his haircut and goofing around. Many fond memories.

When I was 14 or so I did a lot of babysitting for neighbors, friends and family. One night I was babysitting for a family who lived a short distance away but somewhat outside my usual comfort zone. The house was modern and glass abounded. It was also isolated and at the top of a hill that seemed on the precipice of a large cliff. I'd babysat once before for the family but this night it was very dark, and scary. My imagination saw all manner of threats lurking outside so I did what every daughter who was frightened did, I called my Dad. He came down to the house right away, walked around the outside (with his ever present flashlight from the car) and then assured me all was well. Rather than leave, he came on inside and immediately wandered over to the upright piano. He sat down and began running his fingers across the keys and immediately picked out a tune. I'd never seen him do that before and it wasn't just chopsticks that he played. We played Heart and Soul together and then he left to head back home. That was the unassuming man named Phil Fisher who was my rescuer, my Dad and my friend. Dad, Jeff and I love and miss you. We want Mom, Bren, Phil, Pam, Andrew and Greg to know that we are with them today and always. Debra and Jeff Grush
