Hi Sandy and family!
My deepest condolences for your loss.
I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing.
Maria and Jack always talked of what a great man he was.
My husband would say how friendly and kind he was when he was working at the Berardinelli house.
If I can do anything for you Sandy, please let me know.
Sincerely

My husband Dave and I knew Ron through his wife Sandy. He was truly a sweetheart and an amazing friend. Anytime I passed through the streets of Burlington and there was road construction, I could almost always guarantee Ron was there directing the traffic. You could spot him a mile away because he was the happy guy always giving a wave of his hand because there was always someone who knew him. The Tribute on his wall was beautiful. The photos say it all. He was an all round great guy and he will be missed. Condolences to Sandy and his family.

Thoughts and Prayers to Sandy and the Bevis family, also to the Burlington Police Department and it’s community. Ron was a class act. He always tried to guide me to a positive path when I was a young kid growing up in our neighborhood. I guess he did just that! Since I ended up having a 20 year career in Law Enforcement. God Bless..

Sandy and family,
I just heard the sad news about Ronnie's passing. I and my younger brother Damien loved and had so much respect for Ron !!!!!
Ronnie allowed me to use his revolver and one of his duty belts and handcuffs, when I started as a Special for BPD so many years ago. When Ronnie was working a road detail, I would always stop and we would chat for 20 minutes, lol.. I spent time at the house (Washington Ave) talking with Sandy and Ron. I visited Ron in his new home as well, we always remained good friends. Ronnie was one of the best to wear the uniform.
God Bless him and his family.

Dear Joyce and Members of the Bevis family,
I'm deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I knew him well when I lived in Burlington and deeply respected him. As a police officer, he came to the aid of our family when we needed it most. Ronnie never ran from responsibility, he embraced it. He was a dedicated family man and a rock for those he loved. May God bless him always, as he rests in peace with his mother Eleanor, father Walter (Reg) and other family members. Sadly Burlington has lost one of its very great men.
Sending so much love your way,
Carol Benson Turnquist
