I am sorry to hear of Frankie leaving us so soon. Friends thru high school, he was one of the funniest, most decent and gentle people I knew in the neighborhood. Even though I lived on Seventh Street, I met Frank at work at Abt Associates. He was so easy to work with; always friendly, funny, and extremely helpful. You could always count on Frank to help you out, especially in a "crisis"! My favorite memory is the year he set off 200 (I think he said) fire crackers during the Cosmos and Damien Festival. The smoke didn't clear for 10 minutes. We laughed so hard and enjoyed the festival even more because of Frank. He was one of the greats. He will be missed. But I'm sure he'll be lighting off fireworks in heaven just to keep it fun!

I remember as a kid having cookouts in Arlington with my dad and Frankie's grandfather and beach trips to Gloucester but most of all our great times on warren street at the feast and the block parties in front of Joey Mac. I’m very sorry to hear of Frank’s passing I always enjoyed Frank ,A group of us from the old neighborhood in our younger days would play cards once a month for a number of years also Frank played ice hockey with us for a year or two , passing a football around in a tag game . Just a real nice guy always in good spirits with a great laugh and always joking around he’ll be missed . Dennis Gedziun
