Dear Ayer Family, I am deeply saddened to hear the sudden passing of Karen. Karen and I worked together at Epsilon. She was such a friendly and outgoing person. She always brought so much laughter to our department Christmas yankee swap luncheon. Whenever she was in my ‘work’ neighborhood she would always stop by for a chat or a quick hello. I will miss her dearly. Karen, Rest In Peace. May the memories of her help comfort you all during this difficult time. With Deepest Condolences, Anne Chin

All of our thoughts and prayers are with Tom, Frank, Tommy, Kenny and the entire Ayre family. Karen was such a lovely and feisty lady, and I enjoyed the times that my kids and I got to spend with her and her family, whenever they came to Maryland to celebrate a family event. We were so honored to have met you. Rest in peace with the Angels, Karen. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
With sincerest condolences,
Carole, Alex & Hailey

Unfortunately I have no photos of me and her together because all of mine burned in a house fire that destroyed everything I own but I’ve known this woman since she got out of high school and started working for epsilon and she was the sweetest kindest dearest person you’d ever want to meet and instantly made friends with absolutely everyone and I’ve watched her grow into a legend to the matriarch of the ayer family when she married my brother Tom I couldn’t have been happier she raised four beautiful gentlemen she was a grandmother to four beautiful children she fed 100,000 people at her house over the years for numerous sporting events Thanksgiving Christmas memorial day Labor Day she thought of herself never and everyone else came first she was the glue behind the family and as a sister-in-law she was the best anyone could ask she love to cook me chicken Parm my favorite meal she always had a package of fudge because she made the best fudge and she always made sure she had a package for me off to the side someone I’m going to truly miss for the rest of my life a huge hole in my heart my children’s hearts all of her nieces and nephews hearts obviously her family‘s heart she’s going to be missed dearly
