My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Wynelle Scenna. I have worked with Wynelle since 2006 at Fresenius Medical Care. I am located in the Dallas, Texas office, but worked with Wynelle at least monthly and sometimes weekly. She was always upbeat, positive, and happy to help out whenever she could (which was always). We got a chance to meet face to face when I visited the Waltham office in 2019. Such as sweet person. During the 2020 pandemic we talked often trying to figure out what to do with the mountains of mail, sometimes we would be the only people in our offices using IM to sort things out. I will never forget her. I pray for peace and comfort to all those who love and miss her.

I was sad to hear of the news about Wynelle. We worked together at Fresenius Medical Care and over the past 7 years have really got to know her. She was such a beautiful person, always giving to others. We always had conversations about Toastmasters and she was always supportive about joining the group. Her smile, gentle soul and warmth would light up the room. She will be missed! I wish your family peace and comfort during this difficult time. Sincerely, Donna Burns

I've known Wynelle for over 20 years - at Fresenius, birthday parties for Matthew and Jonathan and karate when the boys were younger. Wynelle so LOVED her family! Ivan always made her eyes twinkle when she talked about him, The Harbor Islands were another joy for her. Wynelle was a sweet, sweet lady - she will be missed very much and the space she left will be too large to fill. My heart goes out to the family at this painful time - I'm very sorry for your loss....

She left a huge legacy with her dedication in helping others, as well as her involvement with the "Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands". My heart is broken - I will never forget her.

I have many wonderful memories of Wynelle and times we shared. We hiked together and danced together. We both met our husbands at the MIT Square Dance/Round Dance Club.Over the years we spent many Easters and Thanksgivings together.
One special memory, quite a few years ago was when Wynelle recruited me for the PBS Auction, to help coordinate the pick up of items purchased by bidders. I never would have done this on my own, but Wynelle inspired me and we had a blast!

Wynelle came the rescue of a youth mission trip when another chaperone had to bow out at the last minute due to an illness. While I'd not worked with Wynelle prior to that, I found her to be patient, graceful, as well as incredibly witty and funny. She transformed what could've been a disaster into a trip that was transformative for many young adults, who made memories that will last a lifetime. Wynelle, I only wish I'd met you sooner.

I was so saddened to hear of Wynelle's passing. I have worked with Wynelle for many years at Fresenius. Wynelle was a "doer". No project or activity was too big for her to take on and organize and she always managed to rope me into joining her, whether to organize an office supply swap or plan Halloween and Mardi Gras activities. She even managed to get the unwilling participants involved. I will miss her. Condolences to her family and friends.

Wynelle loved Grape Island, a short trip from Boston that felt like a world away. She was my trainer as a new volunteer for the Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands. They said after years on Grape Island she was an expert and indeed she was. She knew every corner of the island, the trees, the flowers, the scent of a deer, and how to make sumac tea. As she introduced me to Grape Island we rounded the last bend on the main trail where she pushed back the branches of a bush revealing a small side path that lead to her tent, table and the best view of Boston. She shared her food and water but most of all her love of this secret spot. During COVID when I struggled to sleep , I closed my eyes and saw myself back at Wynelle's table with the view of Boston, the water, the birds and the trees and slept in peace. Heaven must be this beautiful. RIP, Wynelle.

Wynelle will surely be missed. As head of state taxes for FMC, I gave her 600 income tax returns to send by certified mail and signed 100 of her sales tax returns a month all with a pleasant attitude. I also knew her in her Friends role, attending the New Years outing several years in a row. She was great person to talk to.
