Dear mourning family, dear Ann
My condolences on the passing of Koni, (Konrad K. Benz) my uncle. I was able to experience some time with him in Boston, especially in my 20s to 21s. I practiced with him for the driver's license and he regularly drove me to football training in Boston. During that time, I met my husband (Japanese) and started my studies in Boston. It was a good time that I fondly remember. Later I came by to Burlington and Boston 2 or 3 times on my trips to Hawaii, Miami, New York and Bahamas and was able to spend a few days with you. To see you in Switzerland unfortunately became less and less, the last time for skiing and for the funeral of Gertrud.
I appreciated Koni very much and have fond memories.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid restrictions, I cannot come to the funeral and pay my last respects to him.
I hope I will meet you Ann and your family in the near future. Please send me and my siblings a photo to remember. Thanks in advance.
