Jim was a member of a group of engineers at Polaroid for over 20 years that can be classified as a "family". We fully enjoyed each other's company day in and day out with love for each other to this day. Jim like others in the group would often travel around the world in teams for work and shared the experiences together with memories for a lifetime. Jim was a sportsman and played in the Friday Night Golf League in Lexington ( MGL-Menotomy Golf League ) and we shared stories from or travels. We also shared time together at " Bickfords Restaurant " in Burlington with the Polaroid Team ( Jim Doyle / Ed Bies / Bill Christian / Larry Lewis / Dave Sert / Bob Chudy / Tom Gannon/ Jose Tavarez ). We felt the strong bond even after we retired or left Polaroid to travel again from various locations from Rhode Island / Cape Cod / Burlington / Arlington / Situate / Brockton / etc. Jim's input to the team at work covered many areas and helped to resolve many concerns that lead to successful results for the Company. It was easy to understand how the team was so revered, respected and sought out to solve problems. Jim was also a calming and steady influence and truly respected as he provided his inputs. I will always remember Jim Doyle and his personal support to me both in the work and family environment.

Jim, So sorry for the loss of your Father.
Having been there, I know how painful it can be.
Handsome man. And while I did not know him, he sounds just like you...a guy who could tackle anything.
Not to fret; as Headmaster Burke continues to remind us - as he did with my sister - you shall see him again.
Peace be with you.
