Nancy and Bobby, I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I have so many happy memories of conversations with your dad in the neighborhood and of his many cars going by. He always stopped and shared a smile and a big hello and will be missed. All the best to you!

To: The Patterson Family:
It is with the utmost respect and love for your loved one, Robert, father, brother, Grandfather Uncle and friend that we remorsefully send condolences . After reading the obituary, we realize once again how fortunate we were to have met the Patterson family of which Robert was the role model .
He was a remarkable friend to us, when we visited, on our way to and from the US.
He would arrive when we reached Jim and Karen’s , and made himself available to us to do anything our hearts desired, until our friends got home from work, and coming to see us as long as we were visiting.
On one visit, I needed my watch battery replaced. He took me to the Burlington Mall, to a local jewellery Kios, and assured me it was a great place to take my watch.
We would go somewhere to get something quick to eat , or he wound bring us around to see where he worked , or to some historic place that was in the area that we were close to. He was so fit that it was all we could do to keep up with him, wither it be on a parking lot or in the mall. We will cherish Bob’s memory forever and wish to pass on our sincere condolences to the Patterson family whom we love and cherish. Their awesome friendship has kept us in touch for many years. Love and prayers to each and every one of you. You are in our hearts today. Winnie and Wayne

I’m so sad to hear you are no longer here. I’ve known you for 20+ years. You were a great friend to my Mom Alice, and my sister and brother. I always enjoyed listening to your stories about your car meets and trips and hearing you play your guitar. I know I’ll see you again. My condolences to your family. You will be missed.

I was only 5. When Bob moved to the USA. He sponcered the rest of family to USA. Raising our families in different parts of the country we drifted apart. About 10 years ago we reconnected. Every winter he would join me in Florida I always marvel at his endurance and lively steps on the dance floor. He will be missed by many friends on Florida. Once I did get him to pick up the guitar and sing and play "Old Shep" My taught and prayers to all the family. Rest in peace brother

Bob was a very nice Guy. I would talk with him occasionally when I visited my sister when she lived at his house. I'll miss him!

We lost a great man Sunday. He will be missed by both his children and grandchildren. We take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and he is with his family and friends that have gone before him. I was proud to call myself his daughter in law and will miss his humor and smiles but mostly I will miss him calling me Catherine-we always thought that he didn’t know my real name. Before he passed I finally asked him if he knew my name and he answered of course I do it is Kathleen but Catherine is my name for you, it only took me 41 years to ask that so now whenever I hear that name a smile will come to my face and I will think of him. We will sit around and tell stories of Poppy and laugh and cry , he will never be forgotten he will be in our hearts forever. I will miss you Poppy. Love Kathy aka Catherine
