I’ve known Harriet and Loretta through Jo Pazola for many years. Then they came to Stonebridge and were a welcome addition. MaryAnn would come from her home in NH every week to check in on them, walk with them, stay in Burlington for four days and return to her home. She did this week in and week out. What love from a daughter and niece! Rest In Peace, Harriet.

Harriet - I will never forget you!
For the first 5 years I knew Carol, she or the 2 of us, would venture down to Cape Cod - every other weekend - to visit with you. I would do whatever chores you might needed done around the house, while Carol took care to do … whatever you girls do or did together.
You’re always very kind to me and would ask me what I’ve been doing and were genuinely curious and interested in whatever I had to say. You were AND are amazing, for even today your legacy of being true to oneself and always presenting oneself to be the best they could, will stand the testament of time.
My Mother also enjoyed the time she had with you and now you both are together reuniting in heaven. God bless you Harriet! My life was indeed forever enriched by knowing you.
Love ❤️ Dale

Grandma Harriet was such a joy. We loved her tenderness as well as her comedian side! We are so happy she became part of our family and that we were able to enjoy her presence for so many years. Rest in peace.

Harriet and Loretta were good friends of my mother Jo's, from those early days in East Cambridge to when they settled in Burlington. Throughout my growing up years, and until my mother died, they would be at so many family occasions, both happy and sad. I feel fortunate to have known them, and enjoyed watching these friends go through life together.
MaryAnn was so faithful and loving to Harriet right until she died....what a beautiful gift of love from a niece to her aunt.

Dear Harriet,
When I was a young girl you came into my life after an incredible loss. I didn’t know what to think. It was very confusing for obvious reasons and a big adjustment for all of us. As I grew and we became family to one another I learned so much from you. You really did help to mold me into the person I am today. You stood by dad through him tragically lost his vision. You took over all the driving and even in your early 90s you were a darn good driver! You were there by his side keeping us all close like the glue of this family. How many ziti did the two of you make from scratch and then freeze and keep in that big Tupperware container, and then cook over so many holidays in the basement? How many rice crispy treat batches did you stir, confirming how strong you were, those suckers weren’t easy to stir but you did it because they were my favorite, and how many date but breads did you whip up because Dianne loved date nut bread, and how many chocolate cream pies did you make for Steve because somehow you remembered he loves it. How many visits did you look forward to with Robert snd Christina? You would go to mass, then go buy scratch tickets with Robert and maybe win $4, and then you loved to go to Tiki Port and you would brag later at how Robert ordered everything. How many weekends did you and i just sit in your kitchen down the Cape and eat ice cream for desert and watch QVC while I painted my nails and you fell asleep sitting up? The answer is countless and tirelessly and unregretfully many. You took a chance back in 1975 and joined a big family and you genuinely cared for your family. Dear Harriet how you were always there for me and all of us, and how we love you. Rest In Peace dear Harriet.

The incredible connection between an aunt and a niece is a most unique bond. Only an aunt and a niece can hug like a mother and daughter, keep secrets like a sister and share love like a friend. No matter where or when, the love is always there. Thank you for everything! Mary Anne
