John was a good friend of my Father-in-Law, Hyman Rodman (Dennis Office supply). When Hyman was working on The Hundred Club, John was right there with him. I remember John and my Father-in-Law taking my oldest son fishing on the ocean, catching a fish and John cleaning the fish for him. Larry just raved about the trip. Aways nice to have good memories.

When John was stationed at Concord Barracks, I was Parish Priest at local church. We would chat after Sunday & Holyday Masses. Having been a priest in East Boston, I would catch up on Wally & Debbie. He was a wonderful gentleman & role model. I will be remembering John at a Mass here on Cape Cod.

John was a wonderful and caring man. He lived life to the fullest. i am so happy that we are able to consider John a friend. we spent some wonderful times cruising with him and his lovely wife. May he rest in peace. God bless and watch over his family. Dick and Debbie Ahern
