I married into the wonderful DeSimone family and consider it my own. I remember Tony's eulogy for his father. Tony ended his tribute by describing Henry as "a man of God." And that is what Henry's son became: a man of God. Our family has lost a giant, who will be remembered always with love.

Steve said what I have been thinking for a while. Tony was my oldest cousin, but he was more like the older brother that I do not have. He was special to me from the beginning. He didn’t make every Sunday dinner at Nona’s on Salem Street because he was playing sports, mostly his beloved hockey, but when he was there Nona would stand over him marveling at his appetite. His wedding to Margie was my first and the first in which i participated….it was such an honor. As adults, we were BC football season ticket holders for decades; when he couldn’t go any longer, it just wasn’t the same. We traveled together on numerous occasions: Barbados, Ireland, Italy(many times), France, but the best was when we took our dads to Italy and Mirabellla to see where their mother had grown up. It was his idea and one of his best. Each night we sat there and listened to our fathers talk about their lives….the memories are irreplaceable. He was usually the navigator on these trips and I was the driver. He found Mirabella on our first Italian trip and we reconnected with our family there after many years. He wasn’t always a great navigator….when your car ends up in the middle of a Pisa shopping mall, no cars allowed, his response was to shrug his shoulders and say “crazy American”. Those were big shoulders, as I often told him, God decided to give him the illnesses that would not come to the rest of us because God knew that Tony was the strongest, and could handle them. This may be too long, but it needs to be said for a man that I loved like a brother…..

I haven’t seen Tony in quite a few years, as I live in England, but I was always made so welcome into the Desimone household, being a friend of their daughter Kristen. I will treasure my memories forever, I did learn what a loving family looked and behaved like which to me was invaluable. RIP Tony, thinking of all the family at the sad time.

All my Love to Margie and family - to my beloved cousin of 73 years Tony was more like an older brother than just a cousin. Our lives revolved around family and sports - our summer family vacations together in Dennis, Cape Cod to sporting events - - Red Sox forever - we were Bruins Gallery Gods for 20 years at the old Boston Gardens and all those Pats games with our dads and uncles from BU to Foxboro. My condolences to Michael Michele , Christine, Anthony, Tom, and Henry John and families.
Rest in Peace - you will always be a part of me love forever - Stephen Boschetto
