Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about your Moms passing. I remember her to be so glamorous. A memory etched in my mind…while watching Gilligan's Island at your house your Mom saying matter of fact to me “Judy, always be a Ginger” She really was a class act! xo Judy (Dinardo)

I did not know Gloria very well. I met her at Atria where my mother in law lives and was a friend of hers. She was such a lovely woman and full of life. So sorry to here that she has passed and our prayers will be with you and the whole family.

To my Auntie Gloria..We will always miss you terribly.. You were my mothers closest and trusted friend..Many never knew how often I had babysat for Bobby while you and Uncle Val could enjoy some quiet evenings..You were an Aunt we always enjoyed
visiting..especially when we found Uncle Val,s great tasting wine in the garage..I have always missed your so open generous
hospitality,; your great Italian food and plenty of it..Meatballs that would cry "EAT ME".. I have kept all of my birthday and Christmas
cards that you had sent me including those prayers from Saint Jude..in fact, I still have the St. Jude card in my wallet when I entered the military..My daughter Sandra, enjoyed your company and living in your home when she visited you there..I have myself made it a point to visit you and Bobby on every visit I made while crossing over the water..You were always so beautiful especially
in white.. All heads turned when we walked into a restaurant and that was not to long ago..I will always pray that Dawn Marie and Bobby find the strength to keep their mother,s memories alive for our families to embrace...
Love you always
Harold/ Gerdi / Sandra/ Mark/ and family

Dear Dawn and Family, I’m very sorry for your loss. Gloria was a cherished friend to my mother and Aunt Mary (Mae-Mae). Could somebody be both glamorous and down-to-earth at the same time? That was Gloria. She had a unique gift of making everyone around her feel welcome and loved. It was so much fun visiting at Woodfall Road because Gloria and Val created a beautiful home that was filled with love and laughter. Their hospitality and generosity were unmatched. I still have a beautiful doll that Gloria brought me back from a trip to Paris. Sincere condolences to Dawn, Bobby, and the entire family. This unforgettable lady will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. With love, Joanne Pittore

Auntie Gloria was very close and special to me I didn't realize Uncle Val and Auntie where my god parents. I feel lucky to have such wonderful and caring people to stand for me. They treated everyone so special when we visited Belmont when we were kids.Auntie would sneak me and my friend Phil Italian pastry as my mom said we could only have those lousy cookies with the hard cherry in the middle yuk .i would visit Auntie and always brought her pastry and sometimes Italian soup. She was so beautiful her heart and soul was so pure and warm to everyone that new her.To Bobby, Dawn, the grandchildren, Aunties Ann Marie and Roberta not to mention Kelly took care of Auntie. I'm truly sorry she's passed but she's back with her family and her true love Uncle Val her husband the war hero.
Sincerely,
Nephew Billy

My Auntie Gloria was probably the sweetest old lady I ever knew. I wish I could’ve known her for more of her life, but that’s what happens when you’re born in 1994. Connecting with her always felt special to me, and I’m pretty sure she almost always remembered my name. I’d been planning on mailing her some cookies, but now I deeply regret not getting around to it sooner. I love the way she said my name, and I’ll always do an impression of it in her honor. I was actually thinking of naming my band “Auntie Gloria”, because I think there’s just something so quintessential about her, and I like to imagine that anyone who would happen to hear us at an open mic night would have an Auntie Gloria in their life.

Hi Dawn, I’m so sorry for your great loss. Your mother left a profound legacy! Everyone at Artis loved her and they will really miss her. She was always late sitting for her meals, even though she was one of the first ones in the dining room, because she went to almost every table and greeted everyone and made sure they were alright. The staff called her the mayor of Artis, and it fit.
She and your dad were wonderful to my parents, and my parents adored them. My mother especially loved your mother.
No matter how long we have our parents, it’s not enough, but she will be remembered well, knowing that she used all the gifts God gave her. Not many can say that.
I shall see you next week.
Love from Marie Bonaccorso Roach
