Very sorry to hear of the loss of one of my favorite childhood friends from our summers in St. Mary’s County as one of the Jackson’s grandkids. We all loved looking at her parents cornfield from the window of the house & visiting the Ferber farm, crab runs & swimming in the river. Wish we hadn’t lost touch after moving to Florida. We are so sorry for your loss. We knew Mary from the cape and immediately loved her spirit, and go for it attitude. She would take her boat from the mooring, through the rocks to the beach with authority and leadership! It was not an easy passage as there was a 7 knot current always moving her to the rocks, but she did it with a sense of humor. Then she would take the boat back to the mooring, which was extremely difficult due to the current, but she just did it. It was always fun to watch and when she came in to the beach after mooring the boat she would give Don a thumbs up and Don would applaud her. Her fun spirit will be missed.

Sharing in your sadness, I have great memories growing up with Mary in Valley Lee. Sleep overs, her horses, and swimming in the creek to name a few. She was always fun and sweet, and I considered her a special friend. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to Joanne, Jacquelyn, Mom Ferber, and ALL her family.
Fondly- Kay Kay Dilworth Adley

In the short years that I knew Mary, I am tremendously saddened by her loss. Mary was extraordinary woman. She brought joy, and laughter to our family gatherings. She was a joy to know. Glad I was able to know her for the short time that I did. Mary will be missed at the family gatherings but will not be forgotten.
With heartfelt sympathy,

I find it hard to describe the pain of losing my best friend. Mary was my soul sister, my cheerleader, my rock. She was an amazing mother for Miles, Mason and Luka, caring daughter and loving wife for Rich. Her heart was so big and so caring; she was always there with guidance and support when someone needed it.
Mary, you were there for me and my family when times were tough, and I will never forget your caring support. I cannot believe you’re no longer with us, my beautiful and funny friend. We were planning to go to Mexico together and you promised me we would have so much fun. Now when I look at the ocean I see you smiling over those waves… I know your soul is happy.
I will always cherish the memories we shared together. Rest In Peace, Angel! You’re forever in my heart!
