Aunt Carolyn was a wonderful presence in our family, lightening up many Thanksgiving dinners with her laugh and happy demeanor. I am thankful for the memories we shared and the connection she gave me to family history before my time. She will be missed.

I don’t have one particular memory but I have nothing but wonderful memories of Aunt Carolyn. I always loved spending time with her and seeing her at Thanksgiving in Mass. every other year was a treat. I enjoyed her laugh, her sensible, positive outlook and maybe funny for a person with an accent herself, I loved listening to her Boston accent. I will miss her. Lydia

Of all the very nice memories I have of my Aunt Carolyn over the years, the last one stands out because it unfortunately now turns out to be one of the last times I saw her. It was at Sam and Dina’s wedding in Vermont. I asked her for a dance. Her serious reply was’I don’t dance’. It was funny, I was being stood up by my own Aunt who was the same age as me. She was down to earth and always seemed to have a joke at the ready…sometimes at my expense. I remember her being very proud of her mother’s ‘smarts’ and her mother’s Irish ancestry. I will miss her. I have nothing but fond memories of Aunt Carolyn whenever we visited family when I was a child. I remember her being very nice and having a great sense of humor. My condolences to Jody and family. - Chris Graham
