Sorry to hear about Rose she was such a good neighbor and friend we will miss her.
Rose always had a smile and a wave when ever we saw her sitting on the front porch,in the yard or just walking by.

Dear Steve, Ann and family,
We are so sorry for your lose. We enjoyed spending all those Christmas Eve’s with Rosie... She was funny even when she didn’t mean to be. I remember about 6 or 7 years ago I had put on a lot of weight and was telling Rosie I had nothing to wear. She told me I have loads of clothes at the house from when I was fat. Diplomacy that’s what I loved about Rosie. She immediately went home and put a bag of clothes together for me and made you pick it up right away. Well that is when my love for Rosie was cemented. Everything she sent was about 4 sizes smaller than what I was wearing. Steve, we’ve known you for forty years, you were a wonderful son. It is so hard to maintain a full time job with many demands, handle the responsibilities of raising your own family and to take almost exclusive care of an aging parent. All those medical issues over the past number of years Rosie had. The trips back and forth to the Doctors and Lahey Clinic, rehab, etc. . The runs to her house for wellness checks, or the late night runs because cable didn’t work. And all the other things involved in a parent’s care... No one really knows or understands the stress involved in making sure a parent’s wishes of living independently go through, unless they have truly walked in your shoes. . I know others loved and checked in on Rosie. However, Rosie was a fighter and she did it her way right to the end. No matter how you slice it, it was your kindness, understanding and respect for your Mother that allowed her wishes to be fulfilled and for that you should be ever proud.
