Brian and the Savage Family,
Our lives only crossed for a brief time, but I remember all of you so distinctly. I remember meeting Mr. Savage for the first time, he was undeniably larger than life. Campus felt like home whenever he visited and he made me feel like part of the family. A great man, who I know Brian got so many quality traits from. God bless you all, and may Mr. Savage's life be celebrated the best we know how.

Dear Paulette & Family,
We are so saddened to hear the news of Mark’s sudden passing. Please know you & family are in our prayers.
After reading his obituary we are sorry we never knew him. If it were not for our participation in your yoga class we would not have had the pleasure of meeting you and the short conversations we had after class!
We are so saddened for your loss. We pray your wonderful memories will help sustain you through the difficult times ahead.
May God give you His comfort & peace.

I was shocked, as well as deeply saddened to hear of Mark's passing. From the Perry family to the Savage family, we offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers. I personally knew Mark and the kids as a Youth Hockey Official and got to work many games with each of them, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Prior to the start of the games and even afterward, we'd chat about our families and always enjoyed each other's company on and off the ice. In 2018 or so I lost touch with Mark and his kids after "hanging up my skates" sort to speak, but I have so many fond memories of the times we spent before, during, and after the games. Mark's passing comes as a total shock as I previously stated and I wish I knew in advance of his passing so I could have paid my respects to his family during the wake. Since God gives us His assurance that we'll all be reunited one day, I'll use this time to say goodbye, but very much look forward to greeting Mark again. God Bless the Savage family during this difficult time.

To the Savage family,
I was so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. We coached baseball together for 4 years when David and my son were little. We had a lot of fun back then. Mark was always great with the kids. He always made it fun. There was always plenty of bubble gum and juice boxes and snacks for the kids after the game.
Rest in peace Mark,
Patrick Quinn

This was the beginning to the start of a legacy. Paulette was always Marks only love, his soulmate and his very best friend! Together they had four beautiful, kind, respectful and caring children who have grown into amazingly caring adults as both of their parents taught. A kind man, a true friend, a son, a brother, a husband and a father too! This is the legacy "Mark" we all have from you. You taught us all love and how to fight, you gave many of us strength and many of us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart you were always kind. You fought for many in one way or another, not just as a husband, not just as a father. For all of us you gave your best. Now the time has come for you to rest. Go in peace, you have earned your sleep. Your love in everyone's hearts will be eternally kept. To Paulette, Mark Jr., Brian and his wife Tara, Erin, David, "Tillie" and all of the Savage Family our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, always near! Still loved, still missed and forever dear. May the wings of Mark always hug you all! With our love Eddie and Lynette

Our deepest condolences on the loss of such a great man. Mark was my BSTC mentor - we shared so many great (and not so great) times when we were on the board together. He gave so much of himself to the Club and truly made a difference. I love this picture - Family Day was one of his favorite days of the summer and he loved herding the kids and organizing the games. I remember when I posted this picture Paulette asked "Why is he using the bullhorn? The kids are all right in front of him!". May your memories help you through this difficult time. Sending our love and prayers - The Gedick Family

I am so sorry for your loss, sending all my love to the Savage family.
A couple of years ago Mark and Paulette came to visit Erin in Durham and we all went to the Durham Bulls game. The game was a playoff game and possibly the last one of the season and the bulls were loosing and the crowd was quiet. I remember the 4 of us getting up and yelling "Lets go Bulls" and everyone was looking at us, but some join in. It was so much fun at the game and then afterwards we went to a brewery and also go ice cream. It was an amazing day!

Paulette and Family: Before I moved to Western Mass in1986, in the mid 1980’s, Mark, our dear Puopolo Family Friend, gave me a gift of a Magical Sandcastle to honor my love for sandcastles and poems about sandcastles. I am a very sentimental person: I still have it with me and it is cherished many years later. A Picture is attached. The castle is made completely of pure sand and the note accompanying the Castle reads, “The Castle is made of 4 ingredients : one part Dreams, one part Hopes, one part Memories, and Love that holds it together.” May all those ingredients hold you and your family together, along with the myriad of Memories created by Mark over these many years. sending love, care, and hugs to all of you. He touched so many lives in so many profound ways, he will be deeply missed and held dearly in all our hearts, too . Love, Susan ( Puopolo) Mulry and Family,

I can remember one Christmas party for Waltham Pest Control how Mark decided to be the bartender. He made me WAAAY too many cosmo’s but I kept drinking out of my never ending martini glass. He was so knowledgeable in his field and happy to help me out on many occasions when I didn’t have an answer. We will surely miss his smiling face and sense of humor. My heart goes out to the Savage family, a great man, husband and Dad. ❤️

It is with great sadness that we learn of Mark's passing. He was an exceptional human being and a top notch CPA. Along with his smile and postive attitude, he brought his intellect, quick wit and easy demeanor with him wherever he went. He was a joy to work with on both a personal & professional level. He generously shared his time and knowledge. Paulette, your love story was apparent when seeing the two of you together. When apart, he was always praising you and the children. Know that your loss is our loss and your grief is our grief. Mark made a differences in this world and he will be missed. In sympathy, Attorney Wendy Guthro & staff.

Mark was an amazing human being! So smart, always willing to take may call, always willing to answer my question, always willing to listen to my crazy idea. So patient and never judged me. Not sure there's another CPA out there that can replace him, but today that's not what I'm thinking about. It's the old cars he drove in, the way he always back into a parking spot.. so may other little ways he was different - in the best of ways. I know I'll miss him, but I know more than anything his wife and kids will miss him. Mark wherever you are I hope all the columns line up and you're able to relax and play back to back 18 holes.
