Oh Auntie Beverly you will be so missed. She always called me Di or Dianne with the the double n. After my mother passed she was like a second mother to me. Always answering any question I might toss her way. And of course we always talked about the Patriots and Red Sox. I know I will pick up the phone to call her. Then realize she is not physically here but she will always be in my heart. Love you. Dianne

Like Eileen, I too, was hired by Beverly for my first nursing job… at The Faulkner Hospital. We three became fast friends in the four years we worked together, and remained so thereafter. She encouraged us in our nursing practice, bringing us to a higher level of professionalism. She supported her friends, and their families with unlimited love and care. The fiery red hair went with the personality. I shall miss her, but know that she is now with her beloved Mike, and at peace.

As a young child of 8 y.o., I remember meeting aunt Bev, in our home in Dorchester with my uncle Mike introducing her to me, and my sister Loretta. Her red hair always adorned with a kerchief, her pleasant soft voice, and always a kind gesture for everyone. She had a sense of humor, and it showed when having to deal with the sometime pranks when around her husband and his 3 brothers. On her 1st Thanksgiving as a family member, she was welcomed.. the boys put her out on the back porch seated in a chair, in cold weather. She came back in laughing. What a good sport! She advised me about my wanting to become a nurse and gave me her books, and talked much about medical health. I am going to miss our frequent phone chats and updates. Beverly was a love and it was a privilege to have known her in life. She is now with her husband Mike together at last. May she Rest In Peace. Love, Dolores Salemme

I am fortunate to be the 3rd cousin of Beverly. I was about 9 or 10 and attended her wedding. I was totally in awe. She looked like a princess , so happy and so beautiful. She also had a warm inner beauty which inspired me to become a nurse like her and l also share her love of cats. I will miss her bright eyes, her radiant smile and uplifting voice. I will also miss chatting with her so much. Rest in peace Beverly. I love you.
