Dear Liz,Steve,Leslie,Stephanieand Emily, I firate met your Dad when he was Fran”s supervisor when Fran was a co-op student from Northeastern. Their friendship began there and continued through hiking trips with Steve’s boyscout troop,all the family weddings and finally years of whitewater canoeing. Once the knees gave out they continued to met weekly for lunch.I heard all 5 their hiking and canoe adventure stories Over all the years. Don and later Paul Barrett become best friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the hours of tale telling that came from all the canoe adventures and later the weekly lunches. The boys have been supportive of me since Fran passed away last year and we were already planning a trip to our favorite restaurant once it opens again in the spring. I will always miss him. My sympathy to all of you. Sandy Nimblett (Fran’s wife)
