I'm very sad about Derek's passing. My deepest condolences to his family.
He was a sweet soft spoken guy, with such a huge heart.
I was blessed to know and work with him, seeing firsthand how much he cared about people in pain.

Derek and I grew up as childhood friends and stayed friends throughout high school. Derek was one of my best friends as a child and was a sincere and good friend. When Derek and I were younger we would go on these epic fishing trips with his father John and sometimes my father, we would always ask John to show us his fake teeth and without fail would blow us away every single time with how cool it was. I was very sad to hear about Derek’s passing and have been thinking about sending our condolences, love and prayers to his family from the entire Morey clan. May you forever rest in peace Derek and know you will be missed, it was a pleasure to have you as such a good friend for so many memorable years. Best wishes to all of you, Derek Morey
