We are sadden to hear of our beloved God Mothers passing and Barbara’s “Sister” in spirit. They will be having tea together now in a living room full of Swedish Dala horses looking down on us. May they rest in peace. Our condolences to you all back in Burlington, wish we lived closer.

My memory of Aunt Evon was her perpetual smile at our family holidays. The 10 cousins sat in the living room of our grandmothers home while the adults gathered around the dining room table. Never enough room to sit, she would take in our laughter at the spot between the rooms, smiling. Evon enjoyed our chaos and being together. Her kindness and calm, despite the chaos, was always felt.
