A friend over 40 years, Steve will be greatly missed at the other head of our table where he loved to hold court and relish his family and friends. A man of many known accomplishments, maybe he won our hearts back in the day on Green Street with his skill in preparing vegetable tempura with careful sizing of veggies, light touch on the batter and select cooking oil, peanut I think.
A man with that rare combination of bravado and humility, we are grateful for that twinkle in his eye when he met & married Monstserrat who gave us Lisa, Anna and Mark. As "Avi" (Catalan for grandfather) he shared his beloved grandson Cameron with us in his finest hours. Steve's loyalty , knack for the best word, good humor and passion for all things Spanish, made him an endearing member of our family for ever. We love you Stevie "Wonder,".
