Obituary of Steven Michelman
Steven G. Michelman passed away unexpected on Thursday, May 9, 2013. He was 63 years old. Steve was born in Boston, the son of the late George and Louise Michelman. He grew up in Alston and Brookline. He had worked as an IT Specialist and Network Administrator for the U.S. Post Office. He retired 2 years ago after 35 years of service.
Steve was a man who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, camping, photography, cycling, and playing the guitar. He loved wine, food, and great company.
Steve was a devoted family man. He was the loving husband to his wife Montserrat for 33 years. He was a supportive father who enjoyed sharing his passions and interests with his children. He was blessed to have had a strong bond with his grandchild, Cameron, who was the apple of his eye.
Steve’s passing was unexpected and very difficult to accept, but he leaves his family with a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter.
Steve was the beloved husband of Montserrat Ventosa Michelman. He was the loving father of Lisa, Mark, and the late Anna. He was the son of the late George & Louise Michelman and brother of Stan Michelman of Novato, CA. He was the proud grandfather of Cameron Dishmon.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading, 239 Woburn St., Reading on Sunday, May 19 at 3pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
