Carl, A friendship, our friendship and a best friendship. Like all best friends, we were always sure no one else understood what we had. Our bond existed before us, blossomed in this life, and will continue in the next. When we spoke last week you were in high spirits - the eternal optimist who put their family and inner circle first.
You lived your life on your terms - always leading with your gentle spirit and wicked sense of humor. I am also grateful for the beautiful friendship you cultivated with my husband. Far too many amazing memories to share - I miss you already - until we meet again, racing our matching IROCs!
Rest in peace and know that you were blissfully and unconditionally loved by many.
