I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing and know that he will be missed by those that knew him be it for many years or for just a short time.
My husband Harry was also a member of the Burlington Detchment of the Marine Corps League and knew Paul well, unfortunately I only knew Paul for a much shorter time from the Senior Center.
I would stop to talk to him and listen to the great music that he had playing in the exercise room.
I felt bad that I could not attend the service at the cemetery as I was in London at the time.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My father, my "Pop" was, is the man I looked up to. I always have and will admire him and love him, for all he has done for me. For all that he deprived himself of for his family. He didn't buy himself new shoes or nice pants or shirts. Instead he'd use his money to get us things we needed or wanted. He always gave of his time, his advice, and most importantly his example. He was and will always be a United States Marine! As proud as he was of his family, as much as he loved his family, he loved the Marine Corps and being a Marine! "Once a Marine, Always a Marine" My standards for life came from his, from the Marine Corps. I can never express in mere words how much I loved him, and always will. I was always so very proud of him. He and I would make each other laugh sometimes with nothing more than a smile. He always tried to take life with an easy stride, he'd never sweat the small stuff, and always told me to do the same. But this is not small stuff, he was, he is, my Pop, and now I've lost him, I miss, I love him, my heart aches for him, and will terribly until my time comes to be with him again. I know when I do I'll find him in his Marine Corps dress blues standing guard at the gates of heaven. He'll smile that wonderful smile he has and say "Welcome home son". I love you Pop, Semper-Fi!

Paul was such a light, a true lifeforce. His singing, his laughter, his love of family, all drew you to him. I can't think of a time I wasn't with him when he didn't make me smile and make me feel better about myself. He was kindness, and smartness, wonderful warmth.
Despite his light being dimmed, it will not be extinguished, for he leaves behind a legacy to all who had the honor of knowing him. I feel fortunate to be among that number.
Rest in Peace, Paul. Our love stays with you.
