From the time I meet "Aunt" Edna at the young age of 5, we had an instant bond that continued to grow over the years. We would talk on the phone every couple of months and especially during holidays and birthdays. I was lucky to have spent a few vacations in the states which would always include a wager and trip to Boston if that wasn't originally in the plans. When it came to seeing Edna & Tony yep I always won the bet. When visiting you couldn't ask for better host. I remember one night Greg and I were visiting, Aunt Edna set us up in her room and we went downstairs for story-time and to look at photos. We got on our favorite topic "family" and of course Aunt Dot & Nanny Atwood. At Bedtime Aunt Edna changed her mind and Greg and I were now in two separate rooms for the night. We all laughed then complied as we worth both brought up with the same family values. I regret not getting down to see her and Uncle Tony the last few years. It wasn't for lack of trying, but life sometimes has other plans for you. I will forever cherish the last time that I talked to her and got the most "perfect goodbye" if there could be one. We didn't talk long but said all of the important stuff and the conversation was like it has always been, the you sweet thing, the I love you's and your always welcome here. It is a gift that I will be forever thankful to have received.
Love Always Natasha
PS I love the picture that you choose for the obituary it was always one of my favorites. It was taken on "Nan's shore" in woods harbour or "Novey" as Aunt Edna would say xox
Always and forever love from Canada! Until I see you again.....

Dear Linda,
The loss of your beloved mother is profoundly sad, but be comforted by the fact that you gave your all to her as she struggled with her illness. You were, and are always, the epitome of kindness, love, and understanding. May the warmth and abiding love of your family sustain and bolster you through these difficult days.
