Family Remembrance by Linda Thank you all for coming today to remember mom. First, the family would like to thank all of her friends who came by and brought meals, comfort and love. We appreciate that over the past few years you took her to see dad and also out for breakfast and lunch. She always said that she had wonderful friends and loved you all. We want to thank the wonderful women who were with mom 24 hrs. a day; Juliet, Jennifer, Jessica and Gloria. We were comforted in knowing that she was being well taken care of by these wonderful women. Lastly, thank you to Compassionate Care for all of their support and kindness. Cathy, you were especially a great source of comfort for us and more importantly for our mother. You moved mountains in getting mom over to see dad one last time, and we will be eternally grateful that you made that special day happen. Mom was a vibrant, outgoing, smart, caring, beautiful woman. She had a wonderful life filled with travel, volunteer work and of course her favorite memory was her involvement in dog shows. She loved her family very much and most importantly loved her husband Tony and never gave up trying to bring him home. She always took pride in her appearance and always put her make-up on everyday, even last week, as sick as she was, she put lipstick on! She had a zest for life and was tenacious to the end. She knew too that we loved her very much, we will miss her dearly. Her absence will leave a huge void in our family. She is no longer suffering and we believe that she is with her beloved parents and her son Michael.
