Debbie, Dave, Kerrie, and Katie,
First of all I want to tell you that I have always thought you are an extraordinary family. All of you have always been there for everyone and anyone in a nonjudgemental way. I have been blessed to know you and be a part of your lives. My heart is broken that such a loving family would lose their son who inherited and learned to be so good from his parents. Great teachers! I knew you all from the time that Kerrie and Kristina started their shenanigans. Picture days, newscasts they performed, etc... Kevin was always the kind, helpful, no problem one. The love and solidarity I have witnessed in this past week, much less this past 27 years is something that will stay with me always. You are truly an inspiration to me and after witnessing the amazing outpouring of love from a community, military departments, comcast employees, and your family I know that so many other people feel it too. I am so happy for the tribute Kevin got tonight. I am here for you always. I love all of you Sullivan family. xo

Debbie, Dave, Kerrie, and Katie,
Tonight, the night of Kevin's wake just validated everything I have always thought. You are such an incredible family! I have never, ever seen a greater outpouring of love and support. You truly are great people who raised incredible people Debbie and Dave. I truly love your whole family and everyone else seems to see what I see. Kerrie is an amazing achiever, those boots and baby shoes blew my mind, not to mention an amazing accomplished nurse and Mom, great kids! Katie is such an adventurous loving caring and giving woman who also became nurse. Then there's Kevin... always a smile, known him since childhood, never a bad word about anyone. A good man. You guys raised amazing adults. Too bad you didn't have ten more! The world could use them. Too bad God took him too soon. There must be a reason. I feel blessed to have known him. I will always be here for you as you are always there for everyone. That's where Kev learned it. Good job guys! Love you guys!

Grief
I grieve not for Kevin.
He is in a far better place.
I grieve for the living, who can no longer share the joy of his laughter, the comfort of his touch.
If a tree falls in the forest, but no one hears - it still makes a great noise.
If a man who lives alone, with no community dies, it makes no noise.
When Kevin died it made a terrible noise heard by a thousand people -
family, friends, coworkers, an entire community.
Those closest to him feel the greatest turmoil, but the ripple spread far - touching many lives.
For what is a man’s life, except how it touches the lives of others.
That is his legacy.
Kevin affected a great many lives.
Remember the good times; remember the laughter you shared with him; remember the quiet happy times, the small moments of peace and joy you shared with him.
Treasure them, share them with other who loved him, and with our children.
As long as we remember Kevin and honor those memories, the best part of Kevin remains with us.
So do not grieve – instead remember, treasure the memories, and celebrate how Kevin touched our lives.

To Kevin's family and friends: I'm very sorry to learn of the loss of Kevin. He had been to my house several times in recent months (for Comcast work), and each time I was always left with the impression that he was one of the friendliest people I'd ever encountered. He made a point to chat with me and get to know me a bit each visit, and he always exhibited the best mix of professionalism and personality. There are very few service technicians that make a good impression, but Kevin made the best. My heart goes out to you all in this very difficult time.

The sudden loss of someone so endearing to so many is such a tragedy... but what a remarkable life to have touched so many, so deeply. How very proud the family must be of his life so well lived. I will be reminded of Kevin Sullivan in difficult moments. How his life was cut short, but how his impact and smile, gift of life to others can remind those left behind that we still have time for raising the bar in our own and each other's lives. Thank you Kevin and Godspeed.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Although I didn't know your sons personnally, I can see by reading about him and the fact that he was an organ donor that he was a great kid. This is a testment to his parent's for raising him with the proper values. Being a parent myself I can't fathom your loss, but can only offer the fact that his death wasn't in vain and he will live on in others. I hope in some way the parents may see the difference Kevin has made in donating his organs so others may live.

To the Sullivan Family:
I didn't know Kevin personally, however I am a member of the Comcast family and was truly saddened to hear of his death.
I know that there are no words which will bring you comfort during these dark times; there are no answers that will lessen your grief. He left this life far too early, however, in reading the words written by those who knew him, it sounds as though in his short life, he lived each day to the fullest. He had many more days to live to the fullest and he was deprived of those days, but as a result of his kind and caring personality, three other individuals will be able to live their best life each day in Kevin's memory.
I extend my sincere condolences to you all. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

Kevin was the most wonderful man I ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was such a sweet, kind, caring gentleman with a heart of gold. He lived life exuding joy and love, deep respect for his family, and guiding others with his moral compass.
The only bright spot in this tragedy is that this world will get to experience his beautiful soul once more. And the pieces he left behind to aid others in their fight to survive is the most beautiful legacy in the world.

It is hard to believe that you are no longer with us and I pray that I will forever remember the sound of your voice. I think of you healthy and young so to take you away by an accident is nothing short of unfair and though we can question why the best awnser is that you were called upon and that eases the pain. Who can blame them for that, you were compassionate strong intelligent level headed respected respectful hardworking fair selfless sharp dresser and the list goes on and on a perfect example of what a real man should be. As we grew into men and blazed our own paths in life it didn't matter hanging out together became less and less I could call you and say hey kev I need you to pick me up I have a flat tire I'm in Alaska you would probably say ahhhh Mr Dana what street are you on ill put it the gps. All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems... But all these stars are silent. You-You alone will have stars as no one else has them... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted you will be content that you have known me... You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure... It will be as if, in place of the stars, I had given you a great number of little bells that knew how to laugh” ~The Little Prince~

I love this saying and I'm sure you are shining down and watching over your family and friends. Love you Kevin.

I started on staff at Landmark the week Kevin stated his introduction leaders program. We started journeys together. He was at my desk everyday for seven months. It was such a joy to see his smiling face walk in the door. And he was so kind and full of love. I cherished our time together. He was like a son but too old, like my dream man but a bit too young. He was Kevin and he is so special I will love our memories and what he brought to me and my life. I love you Kevin'! I will see your smile always!!

It has been a true gift to know you Kevin; one for which I am eternity grateful. It is a clear demonstration of who you are that in leaving this world, you would again be an extraordinary demonstration of generosity and love. May you soar with the angels for another day in paradise. Your love remains with all whom you touched and we are enriched by the experience. Peace and love to your family.

David, Debbie, Kerri, Katie and the rest of your family I cannot even imagine the pain at this time. I haven't seen him in years but what I do know was that he was a friend to so many, he loved his family and friends unlike anyone else. He was always a wonderful neighbor and was always willing to lend a hand to help. My most enjoyable times was babysitting for Kevin, Kerri and Katie it was a blast he always added smiles to everyone. There are many souls waiting to see you again in Heaven. Rest in peace Kevin and know that you are remembered and always will be. Rest in peace.
Love,

My sincere condolences to the Sullivan family. I met your loving, amazing son only two years ago at Tavern On The Square on most Thursdays or Friday nights, when the place was new to most of us in town. He walked himself and his ever lasting smile over to me, said hello, introduced himself, and went right into his famous "Cube" and that was it for me! That's when i knew i wanted to know this articulate, intellectual person and keep his friendship in my life. This guy who always kept the fun in his conversations by wanting to learn about them and life and why everything has a meaning to it. We had many conversations where he really took in a lot of what i had to say and what my take was on life. He would say, "hmm, interesting" He liked listening to what i had to say and believed in how i thought and lived, which always made me feel like my opinions mattered too. He would tell me to be a motivation or inspirational speaker. That's when i guess i got added along with the many others, to join him in his quest of meetings that he had attended. Listening to speakers giving him more insight on the world and people around him. Kevin was that insight that we should have all learned from. He was that caring, loving, happy, carefree guy, who just wanted to talk, listen and learn. So, that's how i will remember him, The guy who was having a meeting at his house this past spring and so wanted me to be there. I had such a bad head cold and couldn't go, and i really did. He told me he would offer me plenty of tea, and whatever else i needed. Sweet, thoughtful Kevin. I missed that meeting and we never did get around to go grocery shopping to start his "Eat Clean Diet" That saddens me...my final thoughts are, Kevin, not only did you want to always better your self but also those around you, even if they were strangers who became your friends. So giving and loving with your knowledge, you just wanted to pay it forward. As i write this with tears. i am so lucky and blessed to have met you for only a short time, but you left such an impact in my mind and now heavy heart. Thank you for always making me feel better after our talks. I will always see your loving smile as i look up to heaven. You were our angel here to listen and learn by. God needs you back my friend. Always in my heart, lots of love....Michelle

My dearest cousin David, Debbie, Katie, Kerri and all of my Massachusetts family ~
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Kevin. I have searched my heart and there are no words to tell how desperately I want to comfort you and the deep sadness I am feeling.
To see his smiling face, it is all so unreal and incomprehensible that such a tragedy has happened! Your hearts have been broken in so many ways.
You have shown such courage, grace and dignity throughout this trial. You are a true inspiration to us all.
Kevin was a gift in life as he was in death. He is a true Hero!!
You all are in my heart and prayers, now and in the days ahead.
Gentle Blessings,
Cousin Janice

Dear Dave, Debbie, Kerrie & Katie,
I am truly and deeply sorry for your unimaginable loss. You are all such wonderful people setting an example of love and kindness and warmth to all those you meet and Kevin was no exception to this way of life. With a smile that could light up any room, to a sense of humor that kept many laughing and a great level of genuine goodness, Kevin was an amazing person.
I feel blessed to be part of this family, but I am truly honored to have known this amazing son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend that will be missed beyond what any words can capture.
Kevin will forever be remembered as an impeccable young man that will continue to make differences in the lives of others through the legacy he leaves behind and is shared through you all as his loving parents and sisters.
I love you all.
God bless you.
