Dear Louise, David, Jeff and Family: I can't tell you how sad I am to have heard of Jim's passing - and also how honored I was to have been considered a good enough friend for David to call me on the day Jim died. I sent my entire office an email about Jim's passing because many of my colleagues used him for their own home projects and for those of many of their clients. Colleagues who did not even know Jim sent me a reply to express their condolences to me because they could tell from my email that Jim was a very special person in my life. I always knew that my clients would be in good hands with Jim: he was trustworthy, conscientious, competent, honest, creative in finding solutions, and always great to deal with. My life was enriched by having known Jim as a wonderful friend and to have had access to his talents. I may find others to help me and my clients with home projects some day, but no one will ever fill Jim's mighty big shoes. He was a true gem of a person and my heart goes out to all of you for your loss.
