Obituary of Patricia Cronin

Patricia S. Cronin, a woman who celebrated life and loved to dance passed away after a long illness at the Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH on Saturday night, August 20, 2011. She was 80 years old. Patricia was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Maurice and Ina Scott. She grew up in Brookline, MA and was a graduate of Brookline High School. She married Thomas Cronin when she was 21 years old. They settled in Burlington where they raised their 2 children. Patricia enjoyed her role of wife, mother and homemaker. She watched over and guided her children with love and understanding and she cherished the gift of being a grandmother. Patricia loved life, her family, friends, and neighbors. She danced with friends 3 or 4 nights a week. She enjoyed trips to the casino. She swam everyday to stay fit and healthy. She had spent the past few years living with her daughter in Salisbury, NH. She had previously resided in West Roxbury. She will be lovingly remembered. Patricia was the beloved wife the late Thomas H. Cronin. She was the loving mother of Suzanne Plummer & her husband Michael of Salisbury, NH and Thomas & his wife Laurie of Woburn. She was the sister of Bernice Regan of Brookline and Teady Brennan of Charlotte, NC. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Samantha and Brent Thorstensen. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials in Patricia’s name may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Franklin, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235.
