It's tough to know where to begin....you were more than just an uncle....not being that much older than me...you were my playmate, my friend and always my protector...you never let anyone even tease me while we were growing up. You bought me my very first phonograph record...played hide & seek with me...helped me learn how to roller skate...but somehow you would never let me into that darn clubhouse of yours..."NO GIRLS ALLOWED". I was always thrilled when you stopped in to see me before your school proms....that was big stuff to a little girl....and when I got older you were the one that taught me how to dance all those great dances...tango, samba, cha cha....we would listen to all the great music of the day...as well as the classical.
You were a kind and loving man....I don't think I ever heard a harsh word come from you....you were a gentle man - a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. You were the brother my dad never had...and he loved you dearly...as did I.
This week the world lost one of the good guys and I will take the memories I have of you through the rest of my life.
