My condolences to Mr. Miagatter, Mike, Charlie, Mark, Paul, and Karyl, and the rest of the family. God bless you all and I am sorry I did not make the services to offer them personally. I would pretty much say Mrs. Miagatter was the center of our universe (neighborhood) back when we were growing up in the '70s. Weather it was patching us up after fights, suggesting we switch from tag to street hockey, or even letting us know when the Bruins were starting that night with Freddie Cusyk at the helm. She fed us, let us sleep over anytime, and most of all helped us experience the Magic of youth while staying alive and laughing every day. May she rest in peace and Thank You for letting her be a part in my life.

To the entire Maigatter family I send you heart felt condolences at the loss of your beautiful wife, mother, grandmother & friend.
I was blessed to have know Louise since I was a small child, visiting her house with my mum and knowing I always had a place to go, a friendly, loving woman to talk to whenever needed. I can shut my eyes and hear her laugh! She was such a beautiful woman both inside & out.
I last saw Louise (and Allan) at my Dad's funeral in June 2012 - she was the same woman I knew my whole life, she truly hadn't changed a bit! Her hugs were filled with so much love and she brought me so much comfort in a time of great loss for me at that time.
I'm so very sorry I couldn't be there to pay my respects in person but please know I am thinking of you all and sending much love.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful wife, mom, grandma, friend with me - how rich my life was to have known you Mrs. Maigatter - I know my Mum & Dad would've been there to great you - may you rest easy and feel the love being sent to you.
You will live in my heart & memories forever

Like so many of the other kids who grew up in our neighborhood, Louise was like a second mother to me. Throughout my childhood, the Maigatter house was the epicenter of the neighborhood, and she made every single one of us feel welcome. She was one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever known, and outside of my parents was probably the adult who played the biggest role in my childhood. Louise was truly, a remarkable woman, and I know that I am a better man today because I knew her.
I will never forget how kind Louise was to my mother when she was ill. I would like to think that they are heaven, drinking a cup of coffee, watching us and continuing to give us strength in the years ahead.
My condolences to Allan, Mike, Charlie, Mark, Paul, and Karyl, and the rest of the family.

We have shared many happy times and tears over the past 51 years. I am so blessed to have you in my life. I will never be the same but I will always always remember that special love we share. I am so sorry for the entire Maigatter family for their terrible loss. I was lucky enough to be included in many Maigatter get-togethers through my good friends Noreen and Charlie. We always felt so welcome and have great memories of spending time with them to celebrate family birthdays. I have always been so impressed by how many family members always made it a priority to be at the events and to spend time together. They are a warm and wonderful group of people. I think so much of that is owed to Louise and how important family was to her. She truly was the heart of the family. I am comforted knowing that Louise knew how much she meant to all of her children, children-in-law, grandchildren, etc. She will be missed more than words can say.

We are incredibly saddened to hear about the loss of Louise. She was a wonderful neighbor and an incredibly nice woman. We will miss talking and joking with her, but we know she's in a better place. We hope the best for all the Maigatter's.

I don't remember I time in my life that you were not there to give me advice, a huge or a "good talking to." You were my second mother how lucky and blessed I was. I will miss you, but will find comfort in knowing that now both of my mothers are in the kingdom of heaven together. Thank you for everything. Love you always. Leelee xoxoxoxoxoxo

My best friend, I will miss you always. Thank you for being the best mother in law anyone could hope for. You have been my rock and strength through many difficult times in my life. We've shared many laughs and I thank you for being the best Grandmother and role model for Kevin and Mike. My heart is breaking but I know we will meet again! I love you!!

I am so sorry to hear this. She was a wonderful woman who opened her home to me 24-7. I have great memories of her and her family. Even though it was so long ago...I have never forgotten her hospitality. May she rest now in peace with God.

Being the youngest Maigatter cousin, I only recently had the pleasure of getting to know Louise during our cousin reunions. I immediately sensed Louise's strong family bonds and admired how involved she was in the lives of her children and grandchildren. When we visited Allan and Louise's home last summer, I saw first-hand the close relationships she fostered with each and every one. Clearly she will be missed. And certainly her legacy will continue through the traditions she established, the love she imparted, and the character she sought to instill. I will always remember her gracious hospitality and her wonderful smile. My heartfelt condolences to her loving family.
