Our sympathy to Maureen and family. Dick and Maureen helped many desperate transplant ptaient's from Lahey Clinic. Their generousity was amazing as they opened thier home for weeks and sometimes months to family memebrs from out of state. Often, they would also have home made cookies waiting as family members arrived at their home. Dick will be missed by all. The Department of Transplantation Lahey Hospital and Medical Center

To Maureen and the whole McLaughlin family! Thanks for sharing with my family your treasure. Deacon Dick McLaughlin When I think about Deacon Dick McLaughlin 2 phrases come to mine. .. * man of faith * heart of gold I had the honor and privilege to know him. When u got a embrace from deacon McLaughlin god the love you felt was amazing... he never had a bad word to say about anybody. He was bringing of the good word and brought many people back to the faith. He was caring loving gentle man. I remember when he read the gospel so many times you just got drawn into the reading even more.. another angel from this earth has been taking from us.. RIP IN PEACE DEACON DICK MCLAUGHLIN! To Maureen, Denise and Family We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Dick. He was so wonderful to the kids and to us. We have many wonderful memories of being at your Westwood St. Home. Also, how kind you both were to open your home to the Lahey patients and families. Your kindness was a special blessing to those families. Know He has been missed at St. Malachy's. Rest in Peace Mr. McLaughlin. I'll never forget you living next door. As your grandchildren and kids said you where more than just a neighbor to everyone on Westwood street you where a best friend. Just driving by your house this morning was very sad knowing you loved your house and neighborhood . We will miss you SO much in both burlington and Westwood Street. Hope your at peace now.
