Dear Mr. Addison and Kim,
I am so sorry to just learn of Mrs. Addison's passing. I learned of Wayne's passing several months after. Growing up in our old Hull neighborhood, I have so many great memories of the generosity, friendship, and kindness your family has shown me. I remember one particular time after my father passed away. I was 14. Mrs Addison have me the warmest hug and incredibly kind words I still remember to this day - 39 years later. Mrs. Addison was the one neighborhood parent that could quickly and succintly see through an explanation or excuse. As kids growing up, the Addison home was the most welcoming and fun. And Mrs. Addison provided the tone and expectation for our behavior. A no-nonsense woman whom was an integral part of the fabric of our neighborhood and my childhood.
A legacy may be viewed by the lives and times impacted by a person. I think Mrs. Addison's legacy is about the values she lived and example set for each life she touched - even for a neighborhood kid from Hull, a long time ago.
On behalf of my Brothers and Mom, please accept our sincere condolences.

Bruce:
Who knew that when you picked us up on Sunday from the airport that we would receive the news on the Tuesday of Gloria's passing on the Monday, God knew. Although we don't understand and ask why things happen at times our lives are truly in God's hands. I'm so blessed to have been a part of Gloria and your lfe and your family. Thanks for the moments and times we have shared together. I'm also blessed to have spent time last month together for dinner down at Harvard Square. I didn't realize this would be the last time we would spend time with Gloria and you together, so thank you for that too. You and Kim will be in our prayers and our hearts. I ask for God's peace and comfort to envelope you now and all your days. Hold onto God for strength. In the coming days when the phone stops ringing and the flowers stop coming know that God is there with you and for you. Gloria you may have left us but you left behind a legacy to remind us of just who you are and for that we are grateful. Rest my dear in the Savior and let Him carry you on eagles wings.
Tribute Lovingly submitted by:
Kenneth/Lois (Tuzo); Marionette/Kelly Simmons; Maxine Harvey and Marchelle Gibbons

Mom, I miss you so much, it’s hard to believe you’re gone. You were the strongest woman I’ve ever known and I owe all that I am to you and dad. I think a line from you’re 80th birthday poem says it all -
Mom lived life exactly her way.
A spine of steel, smart and sparky
She’s our Gloria and that’s no malarkey!
