Dear Joan, Jennifer, Lindsay, and Brian,
Our heartfelt sympathies on losing Steve. He was a big part of my life "growing up", quite literally from baptism, to confirmation, to my wedding which I have a beautiful picture of both of you, to the births and baptisms of my children... as part of my church family for 30 years, I will remember him as someone who would help fix anything and was simply a nice man. He was always doing something in service to BPC. That included for years being the one who got stuck driving the youth group (or a lot of us) to Camp Wilmot on dark, chilly Friday nights in September, stopping at Burger King, and putting up with our admittedly now bad music. I'm so sorry he is gone far too soon.
Love,
Laurel, Julia, Andrew, Emily, & Sarah <3

My sincere condolences. I was sitting next to (across the aisle) from Steven on the plane. He died peacefully in his sleep. All the passengers in our section of the plane, plus some of the flight attendants, prayed together as they took him off the plane. We prayed that God would welcome Steven with open arms, and bring his family comfort.
May the joy of the Savior coming again this Christmas bring you peace.
God bless!

So sorry to hear this news. Steve's father and my mother were 1st cousins. Lots of memories from when we were kids. My thoughts and prayers are with Joan and all the family members who are grieving.

I wanted to send my condolences to Steve's family as I will be out of town during the services. I worked for Steve on my very first job at Textron (then Avco) back in 1981. I've always said Steve was one of the nicest people I've worked for over the many years I've been with the company. Steve was very kind, considerate and hard working. He adored his family. I would see Steve from time to time and I can tell you how proud he was of his family. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will miss passing Steve in the hallways and our occasional talks.
